Great location, charming hosts, big tasty breakfast and a cosy yurt with a wood burner. Couldn't ask for more!

we had a great couple of nights stay at Gareth and Jo's campsite. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They sent us some information before we arrived which was really useful including local walks and places to eat. The lotus tent was very comfortable and cosy. It gets pretty warm with the log burner going! All the facilities were very clean and good water pressure in the shower! The location is great, peaceful but not too far off the beaten track so easy to get to nearby places.

Loved my stay here! Location is lovely, very picturesque and close to the main routes for Snowdon as well as being close to the coastal towns. Hosts are lovely and really accommodating! Made me feel so welcome! Breakfast very nice, piping hot and they made a packed lunch for me each day. Would recommend to others!

Everything was amazing from start to finish. When we first arrived we were offered tea and coffee and a welsh cake and from that moment on we were so well looked after. The breakfast is amazing and we also had dinner of pie and mash after a day climbing snowdon which was delicious too. The yurt was cosy and comfortable and the showers were super hot and clean. The setting is idyllic, peaceful, and very unique. Gareth and Jo were so welcoming, helpful and a joy to stay with. Would highly recommend!

Gareth and Jo really made our trip! From welcoming us to the site, giving us recommendations and making sure everything was running smoothly. The tent was fantastic and perfect for what we were looking for (it was also our first time Glamping). A perfect place to stay to see Snowdonia! And perfectly located for bus travel around the park.

Staying at Gareth and Jo's stunning glamping site was just what the doctor ordered. The yurts are so pretty and cosy. Bathroom facilities were immaculately clean. The wood burning stove in the yurt was such a nice feature and it was so lovely to sit and watch the flames as the evenings drew in. Breakfasts provided by Gareth and Jo were delicious and they could not have been more hospitable hosts. Gareth gave myself and my partner an excellent recommendation for a beautiful walk and Jo's chocolate orange cake is the best thing I have ever tasted. We loved staying, recommend it to anyone and everyone

Well... what can i say, Gareth and Jo where amazing hosts! Nothing was to much trouble for them and made us feel super welcome. The site was truly amazing and inspirational!! We both had such a lovely experience which left us feeling super relaxed! The food was quality produce and hash browns were to die for :) See you again TnT :)

Lovely weekend in Wales! amazing scenery and loads of options for nice walks nearby, wagons are super cute and cosy, hosts Gareth and Jo can't do enough for you and spend alot of time and effort chatting and getting to know their guests. breakfast and lunch are also really nice!

Beautiful location, just a short drive to the local town and pub. Exceptionally clear nights with a view of the stars. The wagon is cozy & comfortable, just as pictured. Gareth & Jo were super friendly hosts & went to great efforts to make sure we got the most out of Porthmadog. Gareth's local knowledge is amazing & Jo's breakfasts are wonderful. Would definitely come back!

A really comfortable stay and beautiful location. Definitely recommend to others! Both Gareth and Jo are wonderful hosts, they provided information about local hikes/walks as well other destinations we wanted to visit. Everything advertised was as expected and we loved how clean and structured the site is. The log burner was great, there was enough wood/logs to heat up both nights. We really appreciated the bathroom/wetroom facility for our own use, plus the shower was brilliant! Breakfast was really lovely and made to time. Also we were glad that there were extra power pack to use, we were able to charge both our phones.

Our favourite air bnb stay so far! We loved the converted horse box, so cosy, warm and slept so well. The location was peaceful with amazing views when sitting by the outdoor fire yet just a short drive to the town. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Gareth was very helpful with advice for the surrounding area. The recommendations did not disappoint as we loved the walk through the mountains and by the river. We have previously hiked the summit of snowdon yet this walk was more enjoyable due to the fantastic views and being the only people on the route. Jo also makes a good full breakfast to set you up for the day along with delicious Welsh cakes. The whole experience felt very magical. Thank you so much and we would definitely return.

Beautiful location, incredibly welcoming hosts with amazing knowledge of the local area. Never glamped before and as seasoned campers we certainly weren't disappointed! Delicious breakfast too with plenty of options for any taste.

YOU MUSY STAY HERE! Words cannot describe how incredible Gareth and Jo are. They made our Bank Holiday weekend perfect, with so many little touches throughout that made this the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in. Location was central to everything you could possibly want. Food and drinks were delicious. Shepherds hut was quirky, quaint and cosy… with great views all around. And, the hosts go out of their way to make sure you have an unforgettable stay! We will be back!!!

The converted horse box was a little beauty. But it wasn't just this that made the place. Gareth and Jo were warm and welcoming and we had a few good natters. The facilities were spotless and the food was unbelievably good. Many food places are very much the same but Jo's cooking was spectacular. The best gravy I've ever had, pies full of filling and proper tasty breakfasts. The food was always piping hot too. Both Gareth and Jo went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered for. A fabulous place to stay!

Highly recommend! The most beautiful and cozy cabin, with breathtaking views of the mountains on our doorstep. Gareth and Jo were very accommodating and were quick to help us with any information we needed. The location is perfect to everything you need and it is also an easy journey by bus to Snowdon. The hosts/ owners of Hadfer Glamping are incredibly professional from the moment you arrive right the way through your stay- to the moments your leaving. Nothing is too much trouble, and were always at hand if you had a question. The accommodation was perfect. Clean and welcoming. Lovely clean showers and toilets, and a big comfy bed, when waking up to the birds, was very hard to get out of :). Food was second to none, and in my opinion Jo should be award winning! It was a shame to leave. We are looking forward to booking with them again soon for our next exciting couples getaway/ adventures!. All our very best to you both!

Really great place! The glamping tent is so cosy and well equipped (we enjoyed the little stove) and Gareth gave us good advice about the area, which is really beautiful! The included breakfast is really good (with a lot of choices) and also the toilet&shower is clean and good. We would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful wagon, surrounded by the stunning Welsh mountains! Gareth and Jo were both welcoming and answered any questions we had. Jo's breakfast and lunch wraps were just to die for!! All over an AMAZING experience and will be back again!

Gareth and Jo are superb hosts. They've clearly worked very hard to make their accommodation a fantastic place to stay. They were so welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to stay. The yurts are lovely and super cosy with the stove lit. Having a private bathroom was an unexpected luxury. It was great to enjoy fresh coffee and a cooked breakfast in the morning. And even better to be able to order pie & mash with wine after a long day’s cycling. An added bonus was that they were very happy to store our bikes securely for us overnight. We'd love to stay again :-)

What a stay! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Gareth & Jo were welcoming, helpful and just lovely to chat to and be around. The horse box was quirky and super cosy and in fabulous location smack bang in the middle of Llanberis & Borth-y-gest. A delicious homemade cooked English breakfast each morning set each day off perfectly and we had the absolute best time. We will 100% be returning.

Fantastic few days staying with Gareth and Jo. Wonderful hosts, very welcoming, lovely having a chat with them. Jo makes a wonderful breakfast. Wish we had brought some of those sausages home! Their location is perfect for everything be it the beach, the forests or a mountain to climb! The yurts were cosy, the log fire made it lovely and toasty in the evenings and everything was catered for. Will definitely be coming back!

My girlfriend Kim and I had a fantastic time. Location is great and the yurt was really comfortable and cozy. Gareth and Jo were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, giving us all the information we needed to get to and from Snowdon via bus, getting breakfast prepared before we went on our travels and putting together a packed lunch. This location was absolutely perfect, not only was the wagon clean, comfortable and warm but the views surrounding it were incredible. the hosts couldn't have been friendlier, such a lovely couple, with lots of good ideas of things to do in the area, and fab cooks! breakfast was included and beautiful, all the facilities were clean and easy to access we will definitely be returning in the future thank you for our lovely stay

Just back from an amazing long weekend staying in one of the wagons. Once we arrived Gareth went through all the facilities and welcomed us with a cuppa, also he was really helpful with walks etc and places to eat too. The breakfasts are fantastic and Jo really looks after you too. We will definitely come back again as the accommodation is so lovely and warm as toast,as well as very good value too!

Had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend. We checked in during a thunder storm but the yurt was dry and warm and the log burner and fairy lights made it very cosy. Gareth and Jo were great hosts and shared lots of tips about exploring the local area. Jo's breakfasts were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal in the Cowshed. We will be returning!

If we could give more than 5 star we absolutely would! Gareth and Jo were exceptional hosts and really looked after us throughout our stay. The food was amazing (thanks Jo!) and the location perfect and beautiful. Gareth recommended a fantastic circular walk which was quiet, easy to navigate and had amazing views of Snowdon. The Horsebox itself was super cosy and warm with great facilities and storage space. Do not be put off by there being no toilet or shower facilities in the Horsebox as there is a private toilet for your sole use as well as clean and private shower cubicles just 10 seconds away. We have done a lot of Shepherd Hut style holidays and this one by far has surpassed them all and will be very difficult to beat! Highly reccomend this stay to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway well situated with lots to do nearby. Thank you Gareth and Jo - we will be back!!

We had a lovely stay at Jo and Gareth's. It was the perfect location for our climb up Snowdon and Gareth was kind enough to give us a heads up about a triathlon happening and advice on where to park instead! The site was incredibly clean and tidy with beautiful views and Gareth and Jo were very friendly and always happy to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!
